Mom packed up the rental car and they were off to Vermont for a week of fun in the sun (and rain). Who knew there was a place solely devoted to people having fun with their dogs? Scout met lots of nice people and dogs. Like Lori, Dennis and Riley and Melanie and Shannon. In years to come he would also become friends with Lin and Sadie as well as a whole host of others (well, as much as Scout can become friends with anyone that is).
He would also learn lots of new things, like the joy of chasing a plastic bag on a string; how to fake it enough to become a certified Therapy dog; how much fun agility can be; and the art of relaxation.
Needless to say, Mom returned to work a much happier person.
